As usual, it was overly crowded. You need to know your prices, as a lot of items are as high or higher than the regular grocery store, where one could complete their grocery shopping much quicker. The salad kit options were limited, and not that fresh.

I absolutely love saving money and I truly enjoy shopping at Sam's Club. Scan N Pay makes my trips very stressful free and fast. I did try the order and they will load your car deal. That didn't work and I ended up having to go inside to get order any way.

I had a situation where my membership was switched to my wife's account. The manager, Oshea, took the time to help me figure the app out and set me straight. She was polite and understanding. I was glad to have been helped by a person who is clearly an asset to this particular Sam's Club location. Thank you, Oshea!

We drive 30+ miles to Sam's almost every week for our big family that eats lots of produce. Costco is better but if you don't have one, Sam's has best quality and price for fresh produce and plenty of other things, as weel as the café and gas. Just be aware that if you go during a busy time, especially on a Saturday, you'll be waiting a while for cash registers, café food and gas. One way to help is use scan and go so you don’t need a register. The staff in Roanoke are great and do the best they can even during rushes though.

UPDATE: I tried to order a pizza today from the app, at 11:30 am. The earliest I could pick it up was 3pm. Why do they still have a food court, if you have to order the food hours in advance?? You can no longer buy food at the food court, but you have to order the food on the app. The reason for this? So they can hire folks who don't speak English! On a recent trip, we knew we couldn't order at the counter, but my daughter went over to ask if they have anything gluten free. The lady, in very broken English said she had to use the app. When my daughter asked about gluten free, the employee repeated the words very slowly, in broken English, clearly not understanding the words. My daughter asked again, and the employee repeated the words again while shaking her head 'no'. We still don't know if Sam's club offers gluten free products at the counter. Sam's, please how employees that can speak English! Having an employee who cannot answer a simple question because they don't know the English language does not make sense. Also, you have to be physically in the store to order food from the food court on the app, so no ordering a head of time, so that your food is ready to pick up.
